Meet us from May 7–8 in Downtown Georgetown—the inaugural recipient of the 2025 Texas Downtown President’s Award for Best Texas Downtown (population over 50,000)—for a dynamic, two-day TXD Regional Roundtable experience. Hosted by the Georgetown Downtown & Tourism Department, this event offers an inside look at the people, partnerships, and projects shaping one of Texas’ best downtowns.
The roundtable kicks off Thursday morning with a welcome session and lunch at TXD Award winning business, City Post Chophouse, followed by guided tours that take participants into the field to explore standout businesses, catalytic developments, parking strategies, and emerging opportunities throughout downtown. The day concludes with an evening reception downtown at Union Merchant.
On Friday, attendees will participate in engaging breakout sessions with fellow downtown peers covering topics from Small Business Saturday and Historic Preservation, to everything in between, followed by focused discussions on special events, and strategies for standout marketing—practical insights you can bring back to your own community.
While the official roundtable only spans two full days, we encourage you to extend your stay and experience Downtown Georgetown in action. On Friday evening, browse the Mother’s Day Market in the newly completed downtown Light & Waterworks District. Then, on Saturday, May 9, explore the Downtown Georgetown Association’s Second Saturday Market Days, featuring more than 150 vendors throughout the historic Square and an opportunity for a behind-the-scenes look at how this signature monthly event comes to life.
Register early, invite your team and board members, and join us for hands-on learning, meaningful connections, and a weekend in The Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas! You won’t want to miss this dynamic multi-day roundtable experience!
